Top 10 Problems to Avoid at Your Wedding

1) POOR ORGANIZATION OF EVENTS
Problem solved… Write EVERYTHING down, so that you can see your whole day happening (on paper). Then share that plan with your Service-Providers and make changes in accordance with their needs. Take their advice seriously, they've been there-done that.

2) POOR ORGANIZATION OF PEOPLE
Problem solved… If you don't have a coordinator then assign someone, or a few people to organize small groups of people (i.e. groomsmen, family members to be photographed, etc.) . These "few" should be good organizers/ people-persons. Let them know it's their  responsibility to accomplish their assigned task. If you have to manage your day, you
will manage to not enjoy it.

3) SERVICE PROBLEMS
Problem solved… Get the rentals (tuxedos, chairs, candelabras) the day before. If there is a problem, you have time to solve it. Hire only Professionals. Uncle Henry may not be too concerned if he's an hour late…he's free! Make sure to get referrals from your Vendors, and get everything on paper.

4) TOO MUCH, TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE
If you fail to plan, and then fail to accomplish what you've planned, you'll have too little time, too much to do, and it will be too late. I have never seen an over planned wedding. Pay attention to all of the details…ask questions!


5) RUNNING OUT OF MONEY THE LAST WEEK
Your specific plans for your wedding should include plans for financing all that you've planned. If you have to scale some service back, expect that service-provider to be less motivated to serve you.

6) THE LOOK THAT KILLS
Your groom asked a woman to marry him… and another showed up at the Wedding! You changed your hair, your makeup… your LOOK! Don't let a friend experiment with your look… hire a professional and find a picture or two of the LOOK you want! You might even ask your fiancé what he thinks of the photos.
